I am a regular reader of the New York Times for a variety of
reasons. First, having grown up in New
York , I have not been able to break the ties of my
native state. With my subscription, I am able to keep up with the political and
cultural news from New York .
Second, it allows me to maintain a comprehensive knowledge of world affairs and
business that could impact my company and my work.
Over the last year or so, I have become a big fan of Adam
Bryant's column the "Corner Office." Mr. Bryant is author of “The Corner Office:
Indispensable and Unexpected Lessons From CEOs on How to Lead and Succeed,” a compilation of his Corner Office columns. Having
spent many years dealing with issues that arose concerning the employment
practices of many companies in Colorado
and several other states,
George C Price Denver find the insights provided by CEOs to be very enlightening. Even if you do not subscribe to the Times, his columns can be viewed at http://projects.nytimes.com/corner-office. Over time, I will post some of Mr. Bryant's columns and other items that may be of interest.
